Applications

PCL-TPU cable jacket grades are used where flexibility, mechanical strength and surface durability are required:

  • Electrical cable jackets for industrial automation and power tools.
  • Signal and control cables requiring resistance to bending fatigue.
  • Robotics cables exposed to drag chains or repeated flexing.
  • Spiral (coil) cords where long-term elastic recovery is essential.
  • Outdoor and cold-environment cables with excellent low-temperature performance.

Processing & Recommendations

PCL-TPU cable grades are engineered for stable extrusion with excellent melt strength:

  • Extrusion conditions: 185–210 °C depending on jacket thickness and hardness.
  • Drying: 80 °C × 2–3 hours for stable extrusion and smooth surface.
  • Coil cords: 40D grade recommended for spring memory and recovery.
  • Color: natural, black, matte or glossy surface available upon request.
