Where This TPE Is Used

TPE insole compounds are typically used in:

  • Sports and running shoes – elastic cushioning and energy return
  • Casual and comfort shoes – soft rebound and long-term flexibility
  • Sandals and slippers – lightweight and anti-slip insole layers

Compared with EVA or PU foam, TPE-S insoles provide better rebound stability, easier processing, and improved recyclability while maintaining excellent comfort.

Key Advantages of TPE for Insoles

  • Soft comfort – smooth surface, elastic and pleasant underfoot feel
  • High rebound – effective energy return and compression recovery
  • Lightweight density – around 0.95 g/cm³, reducing total shoe weight
  • Excellent colorability – easy to pigment and match with upper tones
  • Good bonding compatibility – can co-mold with EVA or PU foam
