Description

PBAT is a thermoplastic biodegradable plastic. It not only has good ductility and elongation at break, but also has good heat resistance and impact properties.

Applications

Mainly applicable to blow molding processing of film ,products, typical products include but not limited to supermarket shopping bags, courier bags, clothing bags, industrial product package

Product Details

According to the raw material sources of biodegradable plastics, there are two types of Biodegradable Plastics: Bio based and petrochemical based. PBAT is a kind of petrochemical based biodegradable plastics.

From the results of biodegradation experiment, PBAT can be completely degraded under normal climate conditions and buried in soil for 5 months.

If PBAT is in seawater, microorganisms adapted to high salt environment exist in seawater. When the temperature is 25 ℃ ± 3 ℃, it can be completely degraded in about 30-60 days.

PBAT biodegradable plastics can be biodegraded under composting conditions, other conditions such as anaerobic digestion device, and natural environment such as soil and seawater.

However, the specific degradation situation and degradation time of PBAT are related to its specific chemical structure, product formula and degradation environmental conditions.

PBAT TH801T

TH801T is a milk white colored, biodegradable and compostable polybutylene succinate (PBS) grade. It is a crystalline (30-45 %) grade, available in the form of granules and soluble in organic solvent like chloroform. Exhibits excellent mechanical properties same as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), outstanding processability and good heat resistance. It can be blended with calcium carbonate and starch to produce cost effective products. Is suitable for processing by blow molding and blown film extrusion. TH801T is used in film, bottles, flexible hose and spinning.
