Description

Polypropylene, a kind of non-toxic,odorless, tasteless opalescent polymer with high crystallization, the melting point among 164-170℃, the density among 0.90-0.91g/cm³, the molecular weight is about 80,000-150,000. PP is one of the lightest plastic of all varieties at present, particularly stable in water, with a water absorption rate in water for 24 hours is only 0.01%. 

Product Packaging & Applications Direction

In 25kg bag, 16MT in one 20fcl without pallet or 26-28MT in one 40HQ without pallet or 700kg jumbo bag, 26-28MT in one 40HQ without pallet.

The grade produced by the HORIZONE gas-phase polypropylene process of Japanese JPP company. It is mainly used for making washing machine internal and external parts, automotive interior parts, automotive modified materials and other products.

Product Transportation

Polypropylene resin is a non-hazardous goods.Throwing and using sharp tools like hook is strictly forbidden during transportation.Vehicles should be kept clean and dry. it must not be mixed with sand, crushed metal, coal and glass, or toxic, corrosive or flammable materials in transportation. It is strictly forbidden to be exposed to the sun or rain.

Product Storage

This product should be stored in a well ventilated, dry, clean warehouse with effective fire protection facilities. It should be kept far away from heat sources and direct sunlight. The storage is strictly prohibited in open air. A rule of storage should be followed. The storage period is not more than 12 months since the date of production.

PP Excellent Properties

1. The relative density is small, only 0.89-0.91, which is one of the lightest varieties of plastics.
2. Good mechanical properties, except for impact resistance, other mechanical properties are better than polyethylene, and the modling precessing performance is good.
3. With high heat resistance, the continuous use temperature can reach 110-120 degrees Celsius.
4. Good chemical properties, almost no water absorption, no reaction with most chemicals
5. Pure texture, non-toxic
6. Good electrical insulation
7. The transparency of polypropylene products is better than that of the high-density polyethylene products.

China’s PP Capacity Expansion Plan

During 2021, China has added 3.26 million tons of new production capacity, an increase of 13.57% year-on-year. It is estimated that the new production capacity will be 3.91 million tons in 2021, and the total production capacity will reach 32.73 million tons/year. In 2022, it is expected to add 4.7 million tons of new production capacity, and the total annual production capacity will reach 37.43 million tons/year.
